Leading property developer Mirvac has opened two exclusive on-site display apartments at its premiere Unison project, in a development first for the Waterfront masterplan.

The display apartments are uniquely situated within the Unison Stage 1 tower, which is currently under construction. Designed by Mirvac’s in-house design team, the $200 million plus project is on track for completion in mid-2016.

Individually curated by renowned local interiors specialists, Space Furniture and Robertsons Design, the display apartments are open by appointment until April 2016.

Mirvac Head of Residential John Carfi said that Mirvac had fast-tracked the on-site display apartments in order to help buyers visualise their new home.

“While buying off-the-plan has strong appeal, by creating these lived-in spaces we can help buyers envision their life in a luxury development like Unison,” Mr Carfi said.

“We’ve strategically partnered with Space Furniture and Robertsons Design to create these two on-site display suites in order to showcase Mirvac’s high standards for quality and Newstead’s appeal.”

Space Furniture’s Visual Merchandiser, Lee Accatino said that the Unison display suite made the perfect location to debut their new furniture line.

“Focusing on stylish inner-city living, for the two-bedroom plus study apartment we created an interior of relaxed, understated elegance. The furniture is a blend of the world’s leading names in furniture such as B&B Italia, as well as the latest design brand, SP01 which has just arrived from Italy and has never before seen in situ,” Mr Accatino said.

“We took inspiration from the architecture of Unison and its relaxed riverside vibe, and utilised colour trends such as smoky blues, champagne gold, rose quartz and soft greys.”

Robertsons’ Furniture and Design Managing Director Tonie Robertson said that they had worked closely with Mirvac to create homely, welcoming interiors.

“Understanding the Mirvac buyer, we have put together a sophisticated blend of both visuality as well as liveability.  The natural cool interior palette created by Mirvac of greys and whites, has been complimented with the warmer tones of tan and charcoal in the furniture and imported oversized canvas artwork from the US,” Ms Robertson said.

“The key is for the interior to compliment the design as well as the people and their lifestyle, to create a unique and individual home.”

The last collection of Unison apartments are now available with prices starting from $700,000 for a two bedroom apartment and $875,000 for a three bedroom apartment.
