More than 240 Brisbane home buyers seeking quality, luxury and location have moved into their new homes at Mirvac's $200 million Unison Development in Newstead, where more than 90 percent of apartments have sold.

 

Leading property developer Mirvac has welcomed over $165 million in settlements since the second stage of the luxury Unison development finalised construction in early 2017, marking the project’s completion.

Mirvac Queensland Residential General Manager Warwick Bible said while Unison had appealed to a range of buyer groups, a significant proportion of sales had come from buyers in the local area looking to make the switch to apartment living. 

“We’ve seen a clear trend towards functional apartment living from buyers currently residing in more traditional dwellings within Brisbane’s inner-north suburbs,” he said.

Two such locals are downsizers Graham and Dianne Loy who didn’t think twice about purchasing their second Mirvac-built home in Brisbane. 

“Given our previous home in Wakerley was also built by Mirvac, we already knew the standard of finish would be exceptional,” Mr Loy said.
